Bar stools and back-seats,

My mouth musty on Millers.

Two swigs of beer-fizz

Helps wash down Gin.

Jen,

I’m two shots in,

Two fifths tonight.

My flannel blends over dick-drunk denim

As I do the city-stand-up

And sofa-sit-down

between an ex-friend’s and Flannigan’s.

I listen to Love Me Do

cause, I know you do too

And think, ‘this barkeep never kept so well

With barstools live on karaoke night.

I’m in my weekend weakness

So I text you again;
