Pumpkins are carved for a midnight hour

Costumes worn, a dark fright awaits us all

Ghouls and goblins as the bell tolls sour

The candy mascaraed begins the ball

Halloween, Halloween; darkness of joy

Halloween, Halloween; despair, fun, night

Don your capes and crowns, every girl and boy

Ring the bells, candy spills, riches to strike

For we are all children, playing dress up

Waiting for some tricks, treats, sweets, and the like

KitKat, Hershey's, Almond Joys, Buttercups

Skittles, Starburst, Twizzlers, and Mike-n-Ikes

Greatest of the pagan scares, devil's day

Go out, be with the ghosts, relish today
