Night Chills

Your walking home, you've said goodbye, breath of rum and cloudy skies.

You get past the last light, middle of the night, a man starts trailing behind, it's the middle of the night.

You keep walking, no worries, no worries, don't worry, nothing is going to happen.

He's catching up, you speed up, creaking branches give you night chills.

Just chill, chill, it'll be okay, it's just a man getting closer and closer, just a man leering over your shoulder.

Rum making your mind spin, heart beating, drum, drum, drum, start running, run, run, run.

Sidewalk trips, leg slips, knee skids, man gets closer, he's getting closer, he's right there, he walks by...

You breath in... he walked by... you stand up... he was just a man... start walking home, no worries, you start walking home.

Breath in because your okay, everything is okay. Then a hand grabs you.

You would've turned around, you would've screamed maybe, you would've called for help; if your neck didn't snap so easily.
