Night Shadows

There isnt a storm

There's no raven knocking on your door

Alone in the night

Around you only snores, as you sit beside the door

Nothing bad could happen

What was that shadow on the floor?

You're fine you say

Flickering lights on an eyesight's shore

Couldn't possibly...

No one's help to call for

No reason to fret

Still awake as the clock turns four

As the clock turns four

What does this night have in store?

A jump from the dark

You're dragged off as others snore
